Bentofix
Bentofix
Bentofix is a water shielding liner using a natural clay called bentonite. Bentofix is produced by sandwiching layers of sodium bentonite powders between tough and flexible polypropylene nonwoven and woven geotextiles and needle-punching with over two million fibers/m² into the form of sheet to prevent the clay from being washed away and distributed unevenly. Bentofix is a flexible three or four-layer water shielding liner and has been used for many projects globally.
Advantages of using Bentofix
● Semi-permanent water shielding material impervious to degradation
● Self-repairing of holes and cracks occurring in the sealed water layer
● Easy to use just by overlaying
● Able to be nailed in place
● Good adjustment to under-layer
Models

How to use
Laying process
Bentofix is heavy product. It is recommended to hang and lay it by using cranes or any heavy equipment. To lay Bentofix, reserve no less than 20 cm (to cover the standard margin of 20 cm for adhesion) on the edge of the sheets for overlapping, apply bentonite powder on the margins of both sheets, and then overlap and press them until being adhered. No special technique is required to lay Bentofix.
Adhesion process
Apply bentonite powder on the margins of both sheets (approx. 1 kg per 1 m2), and then overlap and press them until being adhered without making any wrinkles or gaps.
Reserve a standard margin of 20 cm for overlapping
Apply the bentonite powder
Overlap the Bentofix sheets together
